Outlaws Shine in September
The members of the 14U and 18U Gold Teams have had a busy September.  Both teams participated in the Lancaster Fall Showcase and came up one game short of the championship round.
The 18U Gold team also participated in the McDaniel Play Day, Sunday September 25th.  Winning their first game by a score of 10-1.  This win was a solid team effort.  The combined pitching of Deane and Lowe, only allowed 2 hits with 6 strikeouts.  The bats were alive and the team accumulated 11 hits with Amy Anderson going yard in the third inning scoring her first home run of the season.  Unfortunately, a storm caused the remainder of the days games to be canceled.
Several players attended individual showcases this month.  Amy Anderson, Caitlin Boden, and Madison Hershey all attended the recruit day at McDaniel on September 17-18.  Bailey Rucker also attended a clinic at McDaniel  earlier in the month.  They thank Coach Phil and the rest of the coaches and players for a great weekend full of fun and learning.
Jaden Hair, attended the Frostburg University recruiting day.  While there, Jaden was able to learn from the coaches and players and thanks each of them for a great experience.
Lexi O'Brien attended the Elizabethtown Fall ID Clinic on September 24.  While there, Lexi had the opportunity to meet and learn from head coach Bekah Slattery as well as the assistant coaches and team members.  Lexi had a great time and learned a lot.  She wishes to thank them for their time and for sharing their knowledge and love of the game with her.

As we wrap up September, both teams are looking to continuing showcasing themselves throughout October.  You will find the 14U team up next Oct 1-2 at the Madison Small Memorial Tournament in Sterling, Va.
Both teams will have players at the Wilson College Camp, Saturday October 8, and the 18U team will play in the Wilson College Play Day on Oct 9.  For the remainder of the fall schedules for each team, visit their page of the website.
